The show represents Aztec, Mayan and Incan civilizations pre colonization by Spain, so why do they have a Spanish language? It wouldn't have been Spanish at all at that time and place. 98.30.60.176 (talk) 02:44, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A musical feature film based on Maya and the Three, is going to be announced soon. The story takes place following the events of the miniseries, which Maya's power brings her and Zatz back to life. Tim Davies will write the songs with lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda with Davies also composing the film score. Also in this movie, there were some shots about Chiapa licking Maya's face. The movie will be produced by Maya Entertainment, Titmouse, Inc., Mexopolis, Netflix Animation and animated by Sony Pictures Imageworks. Unlike the series which was created using the open source Blender 3D animation software, the film will be using Autodesk Maya with rendering by Arnold. It will also be rated PG for fantasy violence, action, thematic elements and rude humor by the Motion Picture Association.
