Twin Towns

Do the twin towns apply to the whole borough or just to Bury itself. -- Mariocki ^talk

The twin towns 'belong' to the Metropolitan Borough of Bury - some were 'inherited from the constituent towns in 1974 when the MB was formed eg Angouleme - Bury and Tulle - Prestwich. Holcombe, Bury

Could someone from the Bury area verify what the status of

Holcombe, Bury is. Is it in Lancashire, Ramsbottom, Bury, or Greater Manchester? The contents of the article point to all four at present. Jhamez84 14:17, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply

Of course Holcombe is in Bury, but next to Ramsbottom, and hence in Greater Manchester.The postal address IS Lancashire, but it is not in the administrative county. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.149.182.48 (talk) 18:20, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
