And what is the rational or source for creating the "Metropolitan Maputo" article? As a resident I have never heard the expression. What I have heard referring to the area is "Greater Maputo". Actually, do a search on Google for both terms and you see the difference: 77 hits for "Metropolitan Maputo" (many of them resulting from your article) and 5,110 for "Greater Maputo". The 'Recent figures for the population...' statement was added in 2011 so may well be somewhat older - is there a more appropriate statistic (or at least a date)? Jackiespeel (talk) 16:34, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
