Hello,
I don't know whether I can just jump in and offer some insights. I have not read all the conspiracy theory pages as yet, however, I am convinced that most of the conspiracy theories have a nugget of truth in them. I for one know for a fact that the 1969 Moon walk did not take place, perhaps in California, but not on the moon. I was on duty at the BBC in London when all this was supposed to take place and recorded that they did the take off and landing simultaneously, and the sound recording probably came out of the BBC studios.
The Vietnam war and the bombing of Cambodia was something America wanted to forget and what better boost for the American morale than supposed Space conquest.
I spoke to one man whose father was an engineer in America at the time, and he told his son "it did not happen".
Therefore I believe that conspiracy theories are political ploys to placate the masses.
I like your interest in Women as Theological Figures. The da Vinci Code proved that women as theological figures have been vanquished since the males realised that a few could control the many through religion, and they are not likely to relinquish that power.
Enjoyed chatting.

Hi there- I noticed your plea for non-Western religion contributions on the Buddhism talk page. I've got a very rough sketch of a structure for the article as a whole on one of my scratch pages- take a look at User:Spasemunki/temp2 if you're so inclined. In terms of naming, I was thinking that maybe 'Women in Religion' was most appropriate- my personal bias is against using 'theology' since my primary intereset is Buddhism, and we're sort of short a 'theos' (I have seen 'Buddhology' used for consistancy from time to time, which I remain a bit ambivalent about). I'm wondering if you think what I have whomped together should start a seperate article, or if there is some good way to incorporate it with what's already on the WATF page. I'm sure that the Christian and Muslim sections are a bit pathetic, but it's mostly meant as a 'proof of concept'. --Clay Collier 11:15, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

Proposed list of political disasters killing multiple leaders/elite men etc
I think the idea you floated at the air crash talk page is a good one. It won't be a long list, but that might not be a downside. I'd suggest something like these qualifications:
- Died violently at a single event, limited in time and space.
- At least three "leading men" (king, royal heir apparent, queen, leading noble, minister, top brass military man, president, PM etc) dead.
- Õccurred in peace or (if in wartime) at least not through a deliberate military operation. Definite coups, revolutions and rebellions excluded: they nearly always claim deaths of this kind.

They appeared to belong in the List of LCC... series - so confusion understandable: could you put in whatever link between the List... series and your page is appropriate.
I am developing the London wiki - www.london.wikia.com - and will do pieces on any LCC members I find sufficient information on (presently getting details for the LCC leaders), as probably more appropriate than WP. Leonell C. Strong
There isn't any place where there's a single list of all the possible categories that one can consult, unfortunately. Rather, all I can tell you is the same thing I told PinoyVeggie — one way you can find the appropriate categories is by checking our articles on similar topics (e.g. another person you know of in the same occupation or occupations); another way is by browsing the category tree from a general topic (e.g. since you describe him as a cancer scientist, you can start at Category:Scientists to see what subcategories exist for particular kinds of scientists and whether any of them fit Strong or not.)
But alternatively, please do understand that the categorization tag isn't meant as a personal tap on your nose. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and articles with maintenance issues are placed in project queues that a lot of people work on. So if you just don't know what the right categories are, it's perfectly okay to just leave it in the categorization queue so that somebody else can find the right categories for you. You're welcome to fix it yourself if you can, but you don't need to feel like you have an obligation to do so — if you don't already know how to fix it, it's perfectly okay to just leave it tagged in the queue for someone else to fix. Your recent articles
Hi Jackiespeel, I've argued for a keep, possibly speedy keep, on National Archives of Austria. And I see you've been around for many years, far longer than I have in fact! However, please slow down and modify your article creation. Articles should not have notes in them asking the reader - or fellow Wikipedians - to go hunt up sources or to consult foreign-language Wikipedias. That's just not what one expects in an encyclopedia. Please create a new article with at least one source - there is usually one you can take from the foreign language article - bold the name of the article in the first sentence (and make it a full sentence, not a fragment!), and set off the official website with the ==External links== heading. That way - especially the reference - new page patrollers are far less likely to jump on you, and an unfinished article that is more notes than exposition does a disservice to the topic as well as causing patrollers to freak out. The interwiki thing, which you have requested others to do on at least one talk page, does scare some people, but it's not so much hard as newfangled: at the foreign-language article, click on the link below the existing interwikis in the sidebar (it will say in the local language the equivalent of "add links"), then click "add" on the right under the list of existing linked articles, type in "en" in the left column and accept it by clicking when it fills in "English Wikipedia" underneath, then type in the title of your article in the column to the right of that and when the "save" in the foreign language appears to the right of that, click it. You can then back out of that mess in your browser, it's done. I'll try to clean up, expand, wikilink etc. your recently created articles, but I have limited time and I hope others will also help. Please take this advice when you create further new articles, so they can be safe from deletion challenges. Yngvadottir (talk) 16:34, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- And here's a follow-up: Please don't use wikia or other open wikis as a reference. The text may be free to copy, but it is not a reliable source. I forgot to note that I removed one such reference when editing one of your articles to give it footnotes, and I now see from a posting by you at the user talk page of the editor who's nominated your articles for deletion that information on such sites is an impetus in your creation of the articles. That's fine, but please use only reliable sources here. Yngvadottir (talk) 17:20, 9 September 2014 (UTC)]

Hallo Jackie, I've seen a few of your UD titles while
Could I suggest that while you're creating this useful set of articles on the old UDs you expand your basic format so that it makes a better start for the article? It would be so much better if you had a copy-and-paste template which included some of the improvements which have been made to those articles, from the start, rather than lots of other editors finding individual articles and spending time upgrading them individually along much the same lines.
- Make a proper leading sentence: "X Urban District was ..."
- link urban district
- link to the placename, Runcorn or whatever
- give a good source. Have you seen of Britain? (See my latest addition to Runcorn) It traces the history of local govt areas (though doesn't say what happened post-1974, in this case at least).
- Add the appropriate categories: see Bollington Urban District
- perhaps add the appropriate stub tag - Cheshire-geo-stub etc
As you're working county-by-county you could recycle a lot of the material quite easily from one article to the next, and make a much better article for just a little more work on your part. How about it? Happy Editing. PamD 09:28, 2 February 2015 (UTC)

I am a historian of Imperial Russia. The book, "Blood Relative" had been recommended quite some time ago. I have interviewed the author several times. I have investigated his finding to be both valid and extremely accurate. Other documents away from his finding have also been found. This is a very extensive story around many individuals. I am currently working with the historian at Clandeboye, speaking to Lady Dufferin's private assistant. Lady Dufferin is very hard of hearing now. There is quite a bit of historical findings at Collon as well. Most Americans have no fancy for research and investigations. I have met Glenn Meade who also has researched this find. Have you found there were Nikolai Chebotarev is buried? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Harry Binkow (talk • contribs) 07:29, June 25, 2015
Nikolai Cheboratov at Clandeboye, Northern Ireland
I am still involved with research at the Clandeboye Estate with Lady Dufferin's Office at this time.

Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Krāslava Parish
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read
the guide to writing your first article.to help you create articles. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard
A tag has been placed on Krāslava Parish requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by
The article Turki Parish has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No mention in the text of the parish name used as title. Delete until a more coherent article can be created instead of a garbled translation: the current article is confusing and not an asset to the encyclopedia.

notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PamD 09:35, 21 December 2017 (UTC)

Road content
Here it is! Sorry for the delay, I forgot :/ --Tone 17:14, 18 July 2019 (UTC) Mavelstone Road is located in the Bickley area of the London Borough of Bromley, a major suburb of Greater London. This residential road dates from early in the Edwardian period. It is notable because, although it is located in one of the wealthier areas of one of Greater London’s more affluent suburbs, it remains unpaved. This is due to its unadopted status; i.e. the borough council is not responsible for the road's maintenance. Because of its poor surface, it is relatively untravelled and is something of a backwater that has escaped the attentions of developers. As a result, Mavelstone Road has retained an unusually high proportion of its original large early 20th century residences, & its character led it to be designated a Conservation Area by the London Borough of Bromley. Examples of such residences are ‘Stotfold', 'Manor Place' and ‘The Mount’. Although these buildings were converted from single-family homes into flats many years ago, they are externally largely unchanged. It is noteworthy that 'Stotfold' (built in 1908-9) is a grade II listed building and is also on the statutory list of buildings of architectural or historic interest. Both Mavelstone Close and Mount Close were developed in the middle 1950s off Mavelstone Road; houses in these roads are typical of that decade's style, however many are being demolished & replaced with larger houses constructed to meet market demands. Park Farm Road, which adjoins Mavelstone Road, is also unadopted and unpaved. It too has some fine examples of Arts and Crafts Movement residential architecture. ==External links== *Ideal Homes: Suburbia In Focus - 'Stotfold', Mavelstone Road *1902 Map of Bickley - shows Mavelstone Road *London Borough of Bromley
