During redevelopment of a former horse ranch in an adjoining suburb in 2004, it was discovered that debris from razing Met Stadium had been illegally dumped on the site.

The Met was one of the few football stadiums where both teams stood on the same side of the field.

I tried to find some "other events" that occurred at the Met, but all I could find were a couple of concerts and some wrestling matches. If anyone can find a few more, like a political rally or a boxing match, that would be great to add. Delaywaves ^talk 04:24, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Since Bloomington was located halfway between Minneapolis and St. Paul, it was thought this would be the best location for a prospective Major League team."

I don't know what's meant by this sentence. Minneapolis and St. Paul are adjacent; there is no "between" them.
