Shouldn't this be the Michael Waltrip Racing Holdings LLC page. This migration should be consider, after all they are the same thing.--InvisibleYouth1 (talk) 06:25, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect

I'm not sure if DK Ulrich should redirect here. True, he did own this team at one point, but I think a biography about him as a driver should be worthy of Wiki. --

I'm not familiar with DK's career as an owner or driver. I set up the redirect because it was cleaner than the original contributor redirect setup. I noted this on the WikiProject page so if someone could figure out what happened in case they objected to this decision. I agree that the redirect should be changed to a regular article based on D-Day's comments. Royalbroil 13:40, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Basically stats are what we're looking for in that article. This one is kind of general. Thanks for your comments! --

Michael Waltrip Racing info merged poorly

The car history/numbers section is merged very poorly with the rest of the D.K. Ulrich/Jasper Motorsports information.

Do we need the car history/numbers section at all? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.185.129.207 (talkcontribs)

I agree, this needs to be cleaned up.--InvisibleYouth1 (talk) 06:23, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We will next year. Apparantely, the team will change back to Michael Waltrip Racing, and the old history will probably be needed. At that time, I think I will give Jasper Motorsports its own article. --

Link to homepage is invalid

The link on this article that says: Homepage: Michael Waltrip Racing at Toyota Motorsports and links to: http://www.toyota.com/motorsports/pitpass/waltrip.html is invalid. This needs to be updated, however I do not know the homepage url. —The preceding

Car histories mixed up

Someone switched the car histories for the #00/47 and #44 teams. Unless proper documentation is given that the team truly changed numbers and sponsors, I will revert this change. --D-Day (talk) 20:43, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ambrose, MWR or JTG?

The NASCAR page for Ambrose states he's on the JTG team http://www.nascar.com/drivers/dps/mambrose00/cup/. JTG is simply in an alliance with MWR so I don't understand why this article states he runs under the MWR banner. Hutcher (talk) 03:23, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Because the #47 car is run as part of MWR (at least in 2009), and the listed owner of the car is Rob Kaufmann. This is a different situation than the normal "technical alliance" situation (as MWR has with Prism Motorsports, for example), since the Ambrose car is actually shown (for official NASCAR purposes, at least) as being part of MWR. JTG Daugherty states that they have "integrated our people into their shop". That's why the car is properly included with both MWR and JTG Daugherty at this time. - AyaK (talk) 00:20, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
