Cause of death
I am hearing radio reports that his wife says he became dehydrated playing golf earlier in the week and never properly recovered. I can't find any corroboration of this. —DeweyQ 23:58, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Dewey, I read the same thing. It's in this link: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/08/11/AR2006081101748.html
However, the article is careful to say the definite cause of death has yet to be determined. NickBurns 22:00, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

A lifelong Democrat.
That used to be in his main page. It explained why Mike Douglas was one of the first to welcome the Rolling Stones in America. Or,the fact that John and Yoko were frequent guests and even week long co hosts. Lennon and Douglas seemed good natured with each other. I wonder why all that was removed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:642:4100:A1A0:289E:2142:32A4:A884 (talk) 01:15, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
