The episode summaries added appeared to be copied almost verbatim from the BBC website. This goes against wikipedia policy (

WP:COPYVIO
). I therefore removed these sections of text. The relevant links from which the text appears to have been copied are: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6]. Should this not be the case, please provide justification if the text is re-added. --David Edgar (talk) 14:57, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This was my fault. I'll re-write the episode summaries, so they are no longer in breach of
WP:COPYVIO. Thank you for bringing this up. - JuneGloom07 (talk) 15:23, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply

I have now replaced the episode summaries. - JuneGloom07 (talk) 19:13, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Miranda Extra

Would be useful to explain a bit about this to accompany the list of episodes.

I removed the table since it was unsourced, but I said in my edit summary that it should be mentioned, possibly in prose in the production section. I'll go look for a ref. - JuneGloom Schmooze 23:29, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Cool.

Hmm, just putting "Miranda Extra" into Google was not a good move. However, I found a couple of refs, so I've added some info to the production section. I believe Frank Skinner was the second guest, so a ref needs to be found for him (if no one does it before me, I'll find one in the morning). - JuneGloom Schmooze 00:11, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you mean about Miranda Extra. Hopefully in time it will be the TV series rather than the other stuff that gets top billing on Google. As for the article, I think the paragraph looks good now and explains what the extra suff is all about. Cheers

Disclosure

I'm a friend of Miranda's so I'm reluctant to edit this too much. But I hope people will agree that the trim to the intro and the update of viewing figures is NPoV. I'd be tempted to add:

and probably lots of other things. NBeale (talk) 14:55, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to re-edit the lead, the ref and viewing figures for the last ep shouldn't be there. I'll add the Telegraph info along with this one and something from the Metro too. - JuneGloom Schmooze 17:08, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Catherine Gee from the Telegraph and the one who presents Escape to the Country are different people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.186.36.4 (talk) 11:48, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone feel like adding that it was listed as one of the top 10 TV Shows of 2010? NBeale (talk) 20:55, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the viewing figures for the start of Series 3 in a way which I hope people will agree is NPoV. In fact it prompted an entire article in the Telegraph as well as comment in the Guardian [7] and Express [8]. NBeale (talk) 16:28, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Series 1 episode names

This has been going on for a little while now, so I just wanted to get a consensus as to what we should call the episodes. When they were originally aired on BBC 2 the episodes were called "Date", "Teacher", "Job", "Holiday", "Excuse" and "Dog". Apparently on the DVD (which I haven't seen), the titles are now "It's A Date", "In The Mood", "Just The Job", "Mum's The Word", "Let It Out" and "What A Dog". I'm thinking we keep the original titles in the table and perhaps put a note under the episode summary saying that "on the DVD this episode is known as..." What do we think? - JuneGloom Talk 15:23, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree we should stick to the originals with an explanatory note, although I must confess I don't know what usually happens in this sort of situation. The only comparison I can think of (and it's not a great one) is

Thanks for that. I can add a ref next to the original names, but I'm struggling to find anything reliable for the DVD names (even on sites like Amazon and Play.com). Star Wars is better than no comparison though. - JuneGloom Talk 15:54, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Charles

Where is the character "Charles" play by Tom Conti (Miranda's father) listed in the Cast section? I can't seem to find it. Is there a reason? Maineartists (talk) 21:21, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
