Because it is true. I am the new Italian Reviewer for the Wine Advocate.

. Your article bascially had one sentence that stated you are an American wine critic and a reviewier for The Wine Advocate, and then a quote from the publisher of the The Wine Advocate saying how great you are (which is not independent). Therefore, at this time, a stand-alone article was not justified.
Also, please read through WP:Autobiography to see why creating an article about yourself is generally not a great idea... Singularity42 (talk) 23:34, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
