I don't think the present contents of the infobox are how they should be. Are all the mentioned villages notable (BTW I wouldn't call Târgu Mureş and Arad villages)? Are all the mentioned rivers really major tributaries? If we really want to give all this information, I think it should go into the main text of the article, and only the really important places (e.g. population over 20,000) and rivers (e.g. length over 50 km or average discharge over 5 m³/s) into the infobox. The length is 803 km (761 in Romania) http://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidrografia_Rom%C3%A2niei

In the same manner Tisa river http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tisza has the Hungarian name (Tisza)

The Romanian version of this article records Herodotus mentioning the river in 484 BCE as bearing the name "Maris".

Could someone add that to the article? I'm not too good at Wikipedia for now...

WP:GEOLAND. I think we agree that this river is notable (it's not a small river BTW, 48 km long), and I'm sure the article can be expanded. There is already quite some information in the article (length, basin size, coordinates, villages along its course, references), I don't see how we can keep all that after merging with Mureș (river), without expanding that article to enormous size if we would merge articles about all similar or smaller sized tributaries as well.
