Merv Griffin

Merv Griffin has a new show called "Let's Play Crosswords," which is set to debut this fall or next in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, the country's three biggest media markets. There is also a possibility that the show may be produced at NBC Tower in Chicago (WMAQ). [1] I think this should be mentioned under the NBC Tower section. Merger Proposal

It seems to me, in reading through these articles, that

common name
any more.

LA seems a bit harder, as the former radio facility was torn down and replaced with the current Burbank studios. But, considering that the Burbank studios are supposedly not long for this world themselves, maybe a combined LA/West Coast section briefly describing the history of the successive West coast facilities (starting with the San Francisco radio studios, up to the new facilities being built at Universal Studios Hollywood).

Overall, though, it certainly strikes me that the New York facility is the same place and that the two should be combined at the shorter, current, more common name. oknazevad (talk) 23:07, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Burbank Game Shows

Game shows at NBC Burbank in the '70s and '80s moved around from studio to studio. Tonight was always in studio 1 but the game shows were shuffled around among studios 1, 2, 3 and 4. Studio 1 was used on weekends but NBC claimed it was expensive to move the Tonight show set in and out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.110.57.130 (talk) 08:09, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect

"NBC Studios" automatically redirects here. Shouldn't it have a disambiguation page that links both the New York & the Burbank studios? MegastarLV (talk) 16:35, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Studios 8A - 8F

I believe the references to studios 8A and 8B are incorrect. The information I can find indicates Studios 8A through 8F are former NBC Radio studios and were never converted for TV. The one reference to 8B being used for 2010 election coverage seems based on an erroneous post, and really should refer to 8G (which, confusingly, is located directly above 3B and 6B.) Someone check me on this. I propose a single listing for "Studios 8A - 8F" as "Former radio studios". JimmB (talk) 21:32, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

News Coverage of Trump

Your news coverage by the majority of msnbc news programs are doing nothing but giving free advertising to Trump and Company. The more air time he receives, the more it encourages him to continue to undercut our basic concepts of the Rule of Law! Why not just comment on the actual results of his charges and no more free airtime given to him? 2601:603:5400:78A0:39A2:9EC7:EA40:BFFC (talk) 18:16, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
