In what kind of races did it compete?
The article states: "It is seen regularly at historic racing events..." Does this actually race, or is it only demonstrated? In what class of racing did it compete when it was built, and when it was rebuilt after damaging its first chassis? Sincerely, SamBlob (talk) 13:39, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
- I saw it racing at a VSCC meeting on the old Silverstone short circuit in the mid-1990s, where it was up against a mixed bag of pre-WW2 sports cars. It was rather slow, not least because being under-endowed with brakes the driver was having to lift off halfway down the straight, accompanied by the usual pops, bangs and sheets of flame that are the telltale signs of a healthy Lion on the overrun. Its race ended in the kitty litter on the outside of Becketts, drawing the ire of the bloke standing next to me as he had spent the entire morning fitting it with new tyres.
