Irish country singer?

I'm not sure of the context in which he referred to as an Irish country singer. The biography information clearly states he was born and raised in Liverpool. Wouldn't that make him a British country singer?

There is a distinct genre of "Irish country" music and if you perform in the genre then you are an "Irish country" music performer even if you were born in Ghana Klynchk (talk) 01:04, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
