I believe before NewDos/80, there was NewDos 2.1. I'm not entirely certain if it's the same company or not. I still have an old TRS-80 Model I with it (but stored at my parent's house.) It seems to be TRS-DOS 2.1 with tons of patches and a few utilities. The manual is a poorly copied printout, with many of the patches mentioned and how to unpatch if you want.
