Reworded it a bit.
"aptly named", remove the word "aptly".

"The route merges with Center": indicate that it is Center Street.

Does NY 37 have a name?
Yep, but south and east of the village only. Added.
Is the mileage known for the NY 970B intersection?
Dunno why I omitted it initially, but it's there now.
