You could add the link to the noble family he belongs to.

He is a descendant from the House of Golitsyn, you could add this to his biography.

House of Golitsyn

There are no sources I can find that state Nicholas Galizine is a descendent of the House of Golitsyn, and thus none that would state how he is related. Galizine is a possible alternative anglicization of Golitsyn, but that does not automatically mean he is related to the same Golitsyn family. lots of web said that for example https://www.hollywoodancestry.com/post/purple-hearts-star-nicholas-galitzine-noble-ancestry
and someone add reference-34 about Nicholas on House of Golitsyn#20th century iam (talk) 13:22, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Being a descendant of a noble family does not mean it still exists and these blog-style websites are not reliable for such claims. Where does "His Serene Highness Prince" come from? The Teen Vogue article (which I suppose might be considered usable) only notes that due to his surname, he is "a likely descendent" and this is all. Mellk (talk) 14:44, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also yes, someone please remove these claims. Mellk (talk) 14:44, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, it is an improvement. Mellk (talk) 22:19, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Mellk, only removed and checked the most obvious violations (Wiki as ref) or questionable stuff (excessive detail), not guaranteed to do the rest and haven't done such yet, but we'll see. If sources do describe the link as "likely" (i.e. potentially), this article has to as well and not as fact. If there are overall issues with the claims, it may be safer to remove it all, so agree with your concerns. DankJae 00:42, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Elle Australia source cites Hollywood Ancestry, is that indicative of credibility of HA? Or should the Elle source be removed for sections it cites with Hollywood Ancestry. DankJae 19:07, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply

The who.com.au source is also said to be unreliable by @Krimuk2.0, and has a possible typo, as it mentioned 5th century, while vogue says 15th, and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Kingdom of Lithuania existed post 13th century, so may have errors. DankJae 19:42, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If it's all conjecture, I'd suggest moving it to a footnote. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 07:22, 24 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Krimuk2.0, just removed the link, not overly essential. DankJae 10:09, 24 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox royal house

The {{

Infobox royal house}} template has been added by some editors (are they related?) to this biography on an actor. Is this template needed? It is already at House of Golitsyn the main topic on the Royal House, so I’d argue it shouldn’t be here and is unnecessary as the actor is not a royal house himself, just like at William, Prince of Wales where no “House of Windsor” template is. Sorry, I was away and just saw this. Yes, I think that was a good idea to remove. After all, this connection is not even confirmed. I think it would be also a good idea to remove the family from the infobox for the same reason, this is just based on speculation and the house does not really exist anymore. Mellk (talk) 16:40, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Mellk, removed it from the standard infobox too, note I'd expect it will be re-inserted by others as I had removed it before. DankJae 14:30, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see, thanks. Mellk (talk) 23:27, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Probably this also needs to be confirmed, I cannot find a link. Mellk (talk) 16:08, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know enough to remove the white space in his Early Life (between "Edward Ralph" and "Alexander GALITZINE"). Brucelaidlaw (talk) 10:16, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
