Page recreation

I'm going to go ahead and recreate a stub article for Nick Pitera. Based on coverage in media outlets since 2008, this

notable, and meets Wikipedia inclusion requirements. Cheers. —N2e (talk) 20:58, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply

Whoops. Did not realize this page was protected from re-creation, and will need an Admin to remove the protection. I will initiate that process.
In the meantime, here is one major media source that will illustrate notability long after the three article deletions in 2008, which I have also noted below, for the record.

Page recreation request

The page recreation request to Wikipedia Administrators is being discussed here, by the Administrators who would have to remove the current "create protection" block, as of 2012-02-16. N2e (talk) 14:25, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

History of the Remove PageCreation Protection discussion

Nick Pitera

Based on coverage in mainline media outlets since 2008 (when three deletions of this page were done), this

notable. I have added one source, from the Pop Music Critic at the San Francisco Chronicle, on the Nick Pitera Talk page. FULL DISCLOSURE: I have no connection whatsoever with this musical artist. I had just read about the guy in several places and was surprised Wikipedia had no article on the guy (with multiple albums and coverage in notable media), when Wikipedia has music-related articles on half the garage bands that ever released 50 copies of a self-burned CD. Would appreciate administrator review. Cheers. N2e (talk) 21:20, 13 February 2012 (UTC) N2e (talk) 21:20, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply

Deletion log History

Record of the (historical) deletion log is given below. Last deletion was in 2008. Recent media, in 2011 and 2012, clearly supersedes the concerns expressed during previous deletions.

Stub article started

With the PageCreation protection removed, I will shortly start a simple, but well-sourced, stub article on Nick Pitera. This vocalist is clearly notable, per Wikipedia BLP criteria. The article can then be expanded by other editors per normal editing processes. Cheers. N2e (talk) 05:00, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
