NiziU aims to debut in Japan, but at the same time, aims at global activities with Korean study, and training and producing are all done in Korea JYPE. M/V Korean version is already came out. So I propose a hybrid notation of Kpop and Jpop of genre. It is actually Localized Kpop in Japan. BTS also produces Japanese music and is classified as K-pop in iTunes, but the same album is classified as J-pop in Melon. Are you serious? NiziU is under JYPE Not Sony. Sony is for sale and management when they go for concert in Japan. And ALL producing is under JYPE in KOREA. JPOP or KPOP genre is from musical feature. I said they have already M/V Korean ver. They're Japanese but they're produced in KPOP style. They're under contract for 7 years by JYPE like other artists. Stop talking about the bottom of the NiziU homepage. That's nonsense. The homepage is written on both companies and supports both Korean and Japanese. Your logic is strange. They can't appear on the JYPE site because they're not yet debuted.They are still trainees. What you can do is argue here, on the talk page, about whether this is K-pop or J-pop, and maybe some other things. This Korea Times articles states that the group trained in Korea for 6 months until their announcement of the final lineup. If they trained and finalized their formation at JYP in Seoul, then what reason would make their origin be in Japan? Just because they are a Japanese girl group? Well if i can find them ofc i'll change it, i mean it's not fair when NiziU is debut in Tokyo last year and all this people saying they're debut in South Korea, meanwhile in JO1 wikipedia it say they're debut in Japan. why NiziU can't? @Cainaca: Even if something is done on the Japanese Wikipedia, it does not mean that we do the same thing here. In regards to J01,the survival show they did took place in Japan, it wasn't until after the debut line-up was announced that they traveled to South Korea for training. I don't much think the place of auditions is relevant to their origin as the group was finalized in South Korea.

@Cainaca: If you can provide these new sources, do you intend to change their origin? If so, per Gervant of Shiganshina no changes seem necessary.

I deleted "J-pop", because I couldn't find anything about "J-pop" in president.jp's article (in Japanese). Nevertheless a Japanese IP user undid my edit without any other references. @Lectrician1: Their real names were listed on the page at some point but it looks like we're going by official stage names as they are referred by them in Japanese media.
