Someone has proposed merging Occupational exposure limit with Permissible exposure limit I strongly oppose such a move. Occupational exposure limit is a very general term. Permissible Exposure Limit is a specific legal limit applicable in the United States in those circumstances where Federal OSHA has jurisdiction. These will become two very different articles.
