Unsourced sentence

@Tahc: the sentence I removed has been challenged and unsourced since 2010 - and not by me. I removed the sentence because I couldn't find a good reference, and the sentence is not that important to the article. From what I could tell, "Old Point Comfort" is now part of Hampton and doesn't really have strict geographic boundaries anymore.--Mojo Hand (talk) 21:03, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It is important to say Fort Monroe is on Old Point Comfort. Old Point Comfort does have geographic boundaries. Old Point Comfort is almostly totally surrounded by water and basicaly coextensive with the former Fort Monroe (the formerly active Army base, not the current and much smaller National Monument).
If you want this cited please indicate what facts you hope to have cited-- otherwise we can remove it since WP:You don't need to cite that the sky is blue. Not only are the facts obvious, they are uncited in the Fort Monroe article. tahc chat 21:13, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

was the year, slaves were introduced to Virgina the first time by a slave transport landing in this town? This is missing in the article. --77.7.112.186 (talk) 04:55, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
