Not my usual subject matter, but for some reason his name popped into my head and I thought "I wonder if he has an article here"? And sure enough, no! I really can't be bothered to write any more though, but the link will give any passing WikiGnome who feels like tackling this a headstart, and then there's Google. I'm not particularly sure of whether this is of note, but there was an 'interview' with Oliver Skeete in the first episode of Brass Eye, "Animals", about the morality of the breeding of, and the usage of, spherical cows. I think the article should mention that he was primarily famous for being a rare black competitor in show-jumping, rather than for his actual achievements, and I've edited it to reflect this.
I removed "Many analysts rank Skeete among the founding fathers of celebrity culture. He was doing the whole “no ostensible talent but buckets of publicity” thing a decade before the likes of Peter Andre considered strapping on the celebrity oxygen tanks.", since it seems excessively POV (even though it's probably true).
