This article is mainly based on the pro-slavic and pro-russian version of history. Modern historics have other views, for instance, that the "germans" and "czechs" in the state were not two national entities, but two cultural groups of one nation (similar to swiss language groups). Marriages between speakers of different languages were the rule, not only "common" and the question of nationality was largely ignored by the silent majority of the "czechs".
