Are there any Ospreys in Swansea, Wales? 86.160.23.94 (talk) 20:07, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

They breed in Porthmadog, but may be seen in southern Wales and England on migration jimfbleak (talk) 05:37, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Foulshaw Moss

The Simon Reeve TV series on The Lakes showed ospreys at Foulshaw Moss. That location is not yet mentioned here. Mdrb55 (talk) 16:51, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have added information for the Lake District population of 6 nests - I tried to do this last year but could not find an appropriate ref, which I have now found. I think recording these by region is enough detail - noting each nest site would be impractical to maintain. Ancienterracht (talk) 12:16, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Level of Detail

I have separated the recolonisation of England and Wales into two sections for ease of reading. As the number of nests in the public domain grows, I think it becomes impractical to list them all; I have tried to list when populations were established in different areas, and an idea of how each of the longer established areas has developed. Any comments/suggestions welcome. ThanksAncienterracht (talk) 15:27, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
