Dual nationality

Dual nationality is unrecognized in China (Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China: Article 3). So she couldn't has dual nationality. --dingar (talk) 05:50, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, articles 3 and 9 seem to preclude it, although article 17 seems to leave open the possibility that she might retain Chinese nationality if the rules before that law took effect in 1980 allowed it. I will remove the statement that she has Chinese nationality anyway, since this is unsourced. We don't have a source for NZ citizenship either, but since this is required to be an NZ MP,[1] hopefully that is uncontroversial. --Avenue (talk) 12:25, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
