Status in ICZN
I have found various statements in online sources that say the ICZN rejected the Pantherophis classification proposal. There are so many places that say this that it seems to clearly be true. However, I have not found a sufficiently reliable source to cite to support this statement. It would be nice to find a sufficiently reliable source to cite about this. —BarrelProof (talk) 18:40, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
- I couldn't find any rejection in the scientific literature. Could it just be wishful thinking of Elaphe holdouts? HCA (talk) 23:25, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
