Untitled

Should this article split off into two: one for the mountain and one for the mine? Not sure. Also, I'm looking for a reference to the PhD thesis about the different kinds of snottites that are growing there. Please leave a message on my talk page if you want help creating the references by editing the following page: User_talk:Goatchurch - Goatchurch 20:48, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

1. the article says nothing about the stream that runs off Prays, though the town of Amlwch and into the sea. Last time I was there ( about a decade ago ) the stream were completely lacking in any life whatsoever and must be heavily contaminated. Has this been changed or should it be added to the article?
2. "Since 1988, Anglesey Mining plc" if nothing has happened since, I assume that this project has quietly died? THe website talks anout its project in Canada, but nothing recent about Parys. Should the article be modified to reflect this? 91.128.24.63 (talk) 21:01, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
1 - A great deal has happened to the stream and its quality, but since it hasn't been published and we thus have no reputable source, I am unable to clarify further. When I have added such factual but unpublished information in the past it has always been deleted as unsourced ; possibly correctly; but to the detriment of human knowledge and understanding (see recent history of Tondu as an example)
2 Similarly for Anglesey Mining - I could say that the project is simply on hold, but how can I substantiate that ? And are Anglesey Mining likely to publish that without a thought for their share price ? Unlikely I would surmise.
My advice therefore would be delete all references to the project and the stream since none of it can be substantiated - pity about human knowledge , but there it is.
