  • New article is 3,188 characters long and nominated on the same day as first expansion. No copyvios detected and duplication detector check of online sources[1][2][3] reveal no close paraphrasing issues (AGF books and offline refs which can't go through Dup detector). Article is well-sourced. Hook is 135 characters long (under 200 character max.) and is interesting. AGF ref 2 (verifying the hook) which is offline. QPQ done. Image is free and in public domain. Looks good to go! —Bloom6132 (talk) 22:54, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the review, Bloom6132. Not bad going, an article created, nominated at DYK, and reviewed all in an afternoon. Moonraker (talk) 12:16, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
A month on, BlueMoonset, has DYK decided not to use this nomination? Moonraker (talk) 04:44, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Moonraker The issue is that there are so many nominations with image hooks. I can promote it now if you don't care about using the image. SL93 (talk) 05:10, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the note, SL93. I thought this had got buried in the backlog. There is no hurry, but we used to refresh the DYK column twice a day, and if that is still happening then more than sixty image hooks have been promoted since December. Moonraker (talk) 05:24, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Moonraker I have always worked from the very back with images, but I can't say the same for the other promoters. SL93 (talk) 05:25, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
