What is the best way to title an article like this? He is the only Peter of Navarre and Peter I of Aragón. Srnec 23:40, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure what the problem is. Navarre is the bigger kingdom, hence why he is titled how he is. There are at least three other Peter/Pedro of Aragons. The name should stay as is.

I am not sure what you mean "Navarre is the bigger kingdom, hence why he is titled how he is". Do we normally title people based on their smaller realm? I also don't understand what the number of Peters of Aragon has to do with anything. I was merely asking if there's a policy regarding how holders of multiple kingdoms should be titled. The manual of style only recommends that articles be titled according to the most "commonly known" kingdom. I changed the titles for "Sancho I of Aragon" (as it was called) and "Alfonso I of Aragon".
