Is this London or USA?
This article appears to make detailed mention of the Richmond in Massachussets (USA), I had to re-read it to check it was an article about the one in London (UK). Anyone agree. Robdav69, June 20, 2006.
- On second thoughts I've decided to remove the rediculous overt references to the other Petersham's in USA and Australia. —The preceding ) 21:20, 20 July 2006.
Petersham or Ham?
The boundary between Ham and Petersham is not clear and is disputed but, that said, I think that some of the references in here are to Ham (e.g. Ham House and Ham Polo) rather than Petersham.
The best definition of Petersham is given by the boundary of the Petersham Conversation Area http://www.richmond.gov.uk/petersham_conservation_area_6.pdf/. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Reesmf (talk • contribs) 14:35, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
- Whilst it is mostly academic these days as St Peter's :) Just using the definition of the Conservation Area cited would exclude other parts of Petersham such as Petersham Common as well as several areas of housing. --KenBailey (talk) 12:07, 7 December 2013 (UTC)]
Pronunciation
So is it Peter-sham (as one might think at first glance), or Peters-ham (as one would expect from comparison with other hams like Birmingham, Rotherham etc.? Paul Magnussen (talk) 21:56, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
