Syndromes

I have just described the syndromes ... I will be adding more about them shortly. To the best of my knowledge, the info is correct. However my specialty is more plant-herbivore than plant-pollinator interactions. So please if you are a pollination person, wiki-away! Satyrium 20:55, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

While you're working on that, I'd like to submit the article to Template talk:Did you know. Can you think of a good line? It would also be nice to decorate the article a bit more, with perhaps a lead image and one further down. (Is commons:Image:AphelandraSquarrosaFlowers.jpg a hummingbird flower?) Melchoir 00:44, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is a hummingbird flower ... I am going to add some images of my own to the commons, real soon now. Did you know: the coolest thing I learned (so far) while researching this, was the bat pollinated plants have shapes that are distinctive according to their echolocation signals. So maybe : ... nectar-feeding bats can identify flowers using sonar? The main problem I see with this is it's not really spelled out here, but in von Helverson et al.'s article. Now that is pretty cool! Could you add a short paragraph to that effect? Melchoir 18:49, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe I'll add a sentence. I've pretty much done with adding to the main text. --Satyrium 01:57, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Zoidogamy

Should the hydrophily section discuss zoidogamy? M Carling 12:55, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Zoophily

Perhaps a link to zoophily should feature at a more prominent position in the article than the current "See also" section. 2A02:8109:9340:136C:8C41:6A4A:34A9:A118 (talk) 09:48, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Zoophily 2

Hi, I am partially rewriting the zoophily article. At the moment, it appears as if insects aren't animals. I want to leave the original text on plant syndromes here at this article, but move all the extraneous stuff on pollination by animals over there. I will leave main article links here going there.
