There needs to be more information about the relaunch of Ponds skin care products and its multiple lines (in the late 90s?). Were they also the first to mass market a pore cleansing strip? --68.103.154.140 01:18, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The problem with this page is that it is more about the history of the Pond's brand of Cold Cream and their marketing campaign.
It does not:
(a) explain the history of Cold Cream. (It's been around since the time of Galen -- ancient Greece.)
(b) what it is
(c) how it used
(d) how it cleanses
There needs to be more information how this product got advertised in 20th century and how popular it was, and which place in the market it took. Also need an explanation or guidance what happened with product popularity after other different brand creams entered the market-is it still high demanded product in nowadays? Is its quality as good as at the time when it was created at first? Why it is not advertised anymore as much as in 1946? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.132.248.234 (talk) 18:33, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have just discovered an advertisment in a maazine in 1912 which features peter and polly ponds so it is not correct that they were invented in the 1920s.

I would have no objection to moving this page to Pond's if the brand covers significant products other than creams. – FayenaticLondon 06:59, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
