Arch of Drusus

Let's put the Arch of Drusus under its own name, hey? It was NOT incorporated into the gate and isn't even near the gate, being a few hundred yards to the southeast on the Via Appia. It is in fact a remaining section of aquaduct. If you click on the map coordinates you can get a moveable viw of the whole thing just as though you were walking on the via. You can easily see that they aren't even close.Dave (talk) 04:03, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

They are actually about 30m apart. I should know as I drive under them every day. Do we want two very short articles or one longer one? Roundtheworld (talk) 21:22, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In need of improvement

This entry is in need of improvement, both in terms of referencing and in terms of style and syntax.Torquatus (talk) 04:38, 1 June 2015 (UTC) "[reply]

Blackletter vs Lombardic/Roman mashup

The article states that there is a blackletter inscription under the arch. (http://www.barrythomas.co.uk/photos/rome/medium/R5BT2297.jpg) The lettering is not blackletter, it is a synthesis of classic square Roman capitals and Lombardic letters. If you wanted a one-word description I'd say Lombardic. Poor Frank Raw (talk) 08:45, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
