Mess

This article is a total mess up. It mixes Winning Eleven Games, Iss Pro and PES. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.16.123.134 (talk) 22:44, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Difference between Pro Evolution Soccer (series) & Winning Eleven (series)

Deference between Pro Evolution Soccer (series) & Winning Eleven (series) is within the playing levels.

Pro Evolution Soccer (series) have 5 playing level and they are:
1- Beginner
2- Amateur
3- Regular
4- Professional
5- Top Player

Winning Eleven (series) have 6 playing level and they are:
1- Beginner
2- Amateur
3- Regular
4- Professional
5- Top Player
6- Super Star (missing in Winning Eleven 2011)

And this what make Winning Eleven (series) price always higher than Pro Evolution Soccer (series) Please include this information in the article

  • Support Shouldn't be controversial. I don't see any evidence that the first game had enough impact and notability to merit primary topic consideration. --BDD (talk) 16:47, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I listed this as controversial since the page was moved once already to "Pro Evolution Soccer" but it was reverted. --Mika1h (talk) 19:39, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support there is no evidence that the original Pro Evolution Soccer which BTW was not even called Pro Evolution Soccer in Japan or the United States is anywhere near as likely a destination for people typing Pro Evolution Soccer than this article and the stats provided show the exact opposite. It seems to be a clear cut case here.--70.49.74.113 (talk) 01:59, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, per above rationale and comments. --

How about the Pro Evolution Soccer article begins the following way (based on the NBA 2K article)?

Pro Evolution Soccer (PES)[a] series is a series of association football simulation video games developed and released annually since 2001. It is being developed and published by Konami. It consists of eighteen main installments and several spinoff-style titles and it has seen releases on many different platforms. It is itself a spinoff series of Konami's earlier International Superstar Soccer. The series has consistently achieved critical and commercial success.

The Pro Evolution Soccer series has also been used in eSports. PES League (or PES World Finals as it was formerly known) is the official eSports world championship held annually since 2010. PES League features both an individual's tournament (1v1) and since the 2018 edition a team's tournament (3v3).

In association football fashion it has a longstanding rivalry with EA Sports' FIFA series.
