The article, as it now stands, is more of a very brief excerpt of the article Patriottentijd than one about the military and diplomatic intervention of Prussia (and others) after the Goejanverwellesluis event. So I propose to rewrite it in the sense that those military and diplomatic events will be described and analyzed (more in accordance with the German and Dutch wikipedia articles in other words). This will obviously take some time. I will attempt to leave the article as much as possible a coherent whole while the rewrite is in progress. The first order of business will be the addition of sources and the reconstruction of the Notes/references section. A section about the Prussian campaign should be added, in which also the political developments on the Dutch side will be mixed in (my model will be Colenbrander's Deel 3, ch. 7 (Omwenteling)).--Ereunetes (talk) 20:08, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
