@Trilletrollet: The issue is that what people who are searching for the term are most likely looking for the narrower focus Pterosaur and not likely the wider Avemetatarsalia. The "possible" inclusion of to non-Pterosauria clade taxa is controversial. I disagree.--Kevmin § 00:05, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Kevmin: That's a good point, I suppose. —Trilletrollet [ Talk | Contribs ] 00:10, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
With the discovery of Maehary that is no longer the case, so the change I made was actually correct. Magnatyrannus (talk | contribs) 16:38, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ornithodira vs Avemetatarsalia

Avemetatarsalia is the redirect. Might be worthwhile to change ornithodira to avemetatarsalia on this page. 2601:151:C000:29E6:4406:BC99:E979:DC93 (talk) 00:20, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No, both Avemetatarsalia and Ornithodira are valid taxa. The Ornithodira page redirects to Avemetatarsalia because almost all avemetatarsalians are ornithodirans.
