Contested deletion

This page should not be speedily deleted because... This new public agency is about to start operation as the new public health agency for Scotland, it will have a role to play immediately with the Covid-19 pandemic when it comes into operation. The agency marks a step-change in public health provision in Scotland during a drug death crisis in Scotland. It is a multi-levelled approach to public health that has not been seen in Scotland before. This article is much required and I intend to add to its content throughout tonight and the coming days. This article should therefore NOT be deleted. --

  • JBL. I have detagged for speedy deletion. I think there is a better way to fix this problem than speedy deletion. EosaphOScollain, you need to better put this article in the context of related articles, and clarify what is new, with respect to the other articles. I think it likely that this article should first be given more mentions in other articles. Once you start doing thing this, I think we will see that this should be merged and redirected to a new section elsewhere. Then, later, and only after there is media coverage, will it be time to consider a separate article. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 22:57, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply

EosaphOScollain, even apart form copyright issues, it is never a good idea to simply copy information. This being an encyclopedia, not a news service, what’s wanted in interpretations and commentary on the information. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 02:14, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply
