Guillain-Barre syndrome

In general, this article needs reliable sources.

More specifically, the Guillain-Barre syndrome Dx, while all over the 'net, doesn't seem to show up in anything

reliable
that I have been able to find. One source, just removed, was obviously copied from an earlier version of the Wikipedia GBS article. The remaining source (currently in place) doesn't show any indication of being a reliable source and echoes the dubious/fringe claim (without qualification) that FDR's paralysis was from GBS instead of poliomyelitis.

The closest I got was a blog that mentions a People article from 21 December 1987. I was not able to find a copy online and don't really feel like digging for it (to be honest). If anyone can locate a copy, a full cite for the article (assuming it confirms GBS) would be helpful. -

First of all let me state that I am not an agent, representative or relative of Ms. Chagall, nor am I an adherent of Judaism.
Having said that, I'm having a difficult time understanding why there seems to be so much flak with the including her affliction with GBS on this Wiki with various sources (granted, some fringe sources) stating that she contracted (and subsequently recovered from) GBS in 1982 and resumed her career. (In FACT, she was hit with it TWICE, a rare occurrence indeed, but not unheard of.)
Is this libelous? Not at all. Contentious material? Hardly. She was interviewed by Leeza Gibbons (on the Leeza Show)in 2000 and discussed it at length from diagnosis to recovery, which took her five years. Also on the show was Dr. Thomas Hedge (who was paralyzed from the effects of GBS) and Estelle Benson who along with her late husband Bob (stricken with GBS in 1979 and recovering, sadly passing away in 2012) started the Guillain-Barré Syndrome Foundation. I don't know that anyone implied that you are in any way connected to Chagall. I haven't a clue why you not being Jewish would be relevant.
The overarching problem that I see here is that there are no independent reliable sources for this article. We really can't have an article without them, particularly for
