I have a couple of thoughts you may want to kick-around.

1. Is it possible to make the refs in-line refs, attributing a source to a given sentence or group of sentences?

Two thoughts about that: It will make it easier to expand the article later, someone won't have to fish around to figure out what reference goes to what sentence. Once the article moves out of stub status, it's better to have inline refs.

2. It sounds like an incredibly interesting work. Have you read anything about inspiration for the work or a special meaning for the subject matter? Was this made during a particular period of his life with similar approaches to his work? Do you have an information about where the work is now - or other places since 1938?

3. You may want to look at this source for information to include in the references: Wikipedia:Citing_sources#Examples to make a more complete citation, for instance for web pages, adding the publisher of the page, accessdate, etc.--CaroleHenson (talk) 07:27, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is such a fun article, if you want some help, let me know how - I'd be happy to help. Getting the refs formatted correctly can be confusing, I'll at least help with that.--CaroleHenson (talk) 14:52, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
CaroleHenson—I've noticed your great work on the artwork of Vincent van Gogh. Thanks for your contributions to this article too. Vincent van Gogh's life is thought of as being tragic though his artwork I think is generally thought of as life-affirming. Salvador Dalí seems to have been a well-adjusted human being with a well-rounded life, yet some of his art seems to have a tinge of negativity or offensiveness. I guess that's the way humans are made. Bus stop (talk) 20:27, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I guess so! I'm working on Frank Weston Benson at the moment - and he was a pretty well-adjusted guy who did beautiful work. Thanks for the comments! Glad to help!--CaroleHenson (talk) 20:37, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
CaroleHenson—I have added an image. If you would like to make any adjustments to it I would welcome that. Bus stop (talk) 15:32, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Image: Dali

Are you interested in having an image of Dali in the article, from about the time he made the sculptor?

Here are some choices:

Salvador Dalí in 1939
Salvador Dalí in 1939

Change to 300px for the article image(first thing in edit mode for the article) - and reduce the px (180, 140, other) if used within the article--CaroleHenson (talk) 16:06, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

You also have an option to add an info box, if you're interested.--CaroleHenson (talk) 16:06, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
