Hall of Fame

In making the last edit, my fingers hit the enter key too soon. I had meant to say that I think it's better to integrate the mention of the Down Beat Jazz Hall of Fame more smoothly into the narrative of the article, which I have tried to do. --Alan W (talk) 02:03, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ray Brown and saxophonist Scott Hamilton

Have deleted attached image as the subject of the article, Ray Brown, is very much in the background, the foreground filled with another musician - surely someone can come up with a better one? --Technopat (talk) 09:01, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't that easy, acquiring such photographs. I think we should include this in the main article still, despite its shortcomings. It does, afterall, represent Ray Brown. Better than no image at all, really. (Mind meal (talk) 12:45, 15 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
I think this image is worse than no image. Based on my understanding of the license for this image I think we could crop it, which would be OK with me. Surely someone in the world has an image of Ray Brown they'd be willing to release. -- Rick Block (talk) 17:07, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for responses. I agree with Rick Block that it would be better to have no image until someone comes up with a suitable one. Regards, Technopat (talk) 17:20, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Private life? Personal life?

Should the "private life" section be renamed to "personal life", to reflect (supposed?) convention on other wiki articles of celebrity figures? (If not, can someone explain why?) Thanks. -Achiox 23:00, 7 May 2018 (UTC)
