Controversy

I'm not seeing the controversy here. All I see is that a young CEO bought stock in the team, driving the stock price up. None of the given "sources" even hint at the kind of mass controversy that the section describes, and other statements ("This resulted in the largest one day price jump for a public sports team since 1917") aren't supported at all by the given source. As such, I question the need for the section to exist. – TMF 23:56, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • RCCB is a low-volume penny stock. According to http://www.google.com/finance?q=PINK%3ARCCB, 29 shares changed hands on December 2nd at $105 and suspiciously 1 share changed hands on December 15th at 3.333... times the December 2nd price. It looks to me like someone is following in the footsteps of Jonathan Lebed. I'm going to revert the edit. -- DanielPenfield (talk) 00:37, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oldest team

The statement that it's the "oldest and longest running minor league franchise in the history of professional sports" appears to be incorrect. Doncaster Rovers turned professional in 1885. BlueSwede92 (talk) 18:05, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
