Is this the Rose Stone that sings with Robbie Williams on "Revolution" of the album "Escapology"? I actually thought that it was Joss Stone, but the booklet with the cd said otherwise.

Greetings, Renske

- - - - - According to this Wiki article, Rose Stone DID perform with Robbie Williams on "Revolution." Joss Stone was one of the non-Family Stone personnel who appeared on stage during Sly's surprise Grammy appearance 6 February 2006.

Rose "Stone" used to work in the sheet music department of the large Sherman Clay music store in downtown San Francisco in the late Sixties. The group was already well-known, especially since Sly was a popular DJ on SF's AM soul station, KDIA. This perhaps attests to how solidly her feet were planted on the ground. She kept this job that started very early even after the group had already had two albums out. This was pre-Woodstock and Rose did not wear her famous blonde wig at the store.

Touring with Elton John

"Currently" should be avoided; give actual dates. See [1] (Manual of Style). Please do not revert the "[when?]" tag without reading the Manual of Style. Also, the statement that Stone is touring with Elton John is not supported by any citation.
