@Jonel and Schwede66: - I know you've both worked a bit on this page, hence the pings. Looks like the Karl Leister mystery is solved, and he did not compete. The IOC results does not have him listed now (just expand the German entry), but they do list Otto Maier. Maier's Olympedia bio states that Maiers did compete in all the races, and there is doubt that Leister was even in Stockholm at the time. Thanks.
