Copyrighted content from Allmusic makes up a large fraction of this entry

A series of edits in mid-August 2007 by Night Time provided the majority of the content of this page; most of the edits since then have been content tweaks. Unfortunately, large portions of that content appear cribbed word-for-word from Allmusic. For instance, compare the text of the career section with the artist biography on Allmusic. Except for some minor edits that have occurred since, they're identical. This seems a violation of the

Wikipedia copyright policy; at the very least, it's problematic because Wikipedia content is asserted to be released under the terms of the GFDL, which isn't possible here since Allmusic holds the copyright to this text. A significant rewrite seems necessary here. Funkapus (talk) 19:38, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply

Many subjective statements without citation

This article features many statements that are quite subjective in nature without any substantiation. Such items as Chaka's nicknames and fan preferences are part of this situation. While possibly true to some, many or few, there needs to be reliable sourcing for these statements. I realized the problem to be widespread after the first "cn" I inserted. Instead of putting in this flag multiple times I wanted to make an appeal to the original author(s) to put in the work to improve the article. My interest in the group is casual so I lack the motivation to do the work necessary. Again, I would encourage someone motivated to help improve the article beyond where it is as of this writing. Thanks!THX1136 (talk) 15:16, 28 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
