This article is appalling! The history is not backed up from any sources and, indeed, the only verifiable part if that the then village was mentioned in a royal charter in 1124. None of the detail is supported by the town hall's website ([1], includes picture of town hall - not a medieval castle) The town hall gives a fairly detailed history (see [2])and would form the basis for a better Wikipedia article. This does not mention the name deriving from "Romius", in fact, it states that the origin is unclear. Significantly, the French Wikipedia article also does not repeat any of this nonsense. In the light of this, I have deleted the history section.

Missing, is the name of the département which I will add.

In adition, the RER station is incorrectly named. I have corrected this. Emeraude (talk) 17:20, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the Wikipedia RER map is wrong!Emeraude (talk) 17:34, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Where is it? I don't actually see Rungis marked on the map!
