Sources in Russian

Allot of the sources are in Russian from what I know because this is an english page our sources need to be in English. Otherwise it would be very hard for someone to confirm the info that does not speak Russian. What should we do? Rybkovich (talk) 16:35, 25 July 2016 (UTC) Should we leave them in for now and replace them asap? Rybkovich (talk) 16:49, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Replacing (if available) is ok, but there is no rush and no need to remove those that can't be replaced as they are allowed. See
WP:NOENG for more information... L.tak (talk) 05:51, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply

Date format

To @Raymarcbadz: and @L.tak: hey I noticed you guys are using different date formats - 7 29 2016 and July 29, 2016 We should agree on which one to go with. I can go with either one, not a huge issue for me just thought I would bring it up. Rybkovich (talk) 19:39, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am all for consistency and the top of the page had the "use dmy dares" template, so that s why I changed it. If a change is needed that s ok To me. --L.tak (talk) 01:24, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Help with table

I expanded that athletes table to include banned athletes. Can any one help me color the removed athletes columns so they don't blend in with the competing athletes. Thank you.

I tried, but didn't find an easy way (the complicated way is to add "style="background: lightgreen|" in every place needed, as done once now). But I am not sure it is 100% needed, as the table is quite clear now (I copyedited a bit) L.tak (talk) 07:19, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
hmmm.. Can you put a narrow blank column between competing and removed due to doping? Rybkovich (talk) 17:42, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Intro

In the intro, "...271 athletes were cleared for competition, while 118 were removed because of doping" and two references given. Neither of the two states that 118 sportsmen were "removed because of doping". One of them merely observes that "the news means 118 competitors of the 389-strong Russian team have been banned from competing in Rio". It doesn't go into details on all of those 118 competitors. I think either better source has to be find that clearly states what's up with the rest 118, or the intro must be edited to remove the misleading statement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkdiatel (talkcontribs) 17:04, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed! (and corrected) L.tak (talk) 17:56, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Klishina overturns ban

Darya Klishina has overturned from ban on competing the games and makes her from eligibility to compete in Olympics. It looks she's in once again. Based on this news: [1]. ApprenticeFan work 00:58, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
