What is the source for the dates of construction and launching? Are they in Julian or Gregorian style?

Contradiction between this article vs. Battle of Penang article
This article Russian cruiser Zhemchug asserts that Emden sank the French destroyer Mousquet and then opened fire on Zhemchug; the Battle of Penang article says that Emden sank Zhemchug first, was chased by Mousquet and then sank Mousquet and picked up survivors of Mousquet. Given the detail about picking up survivors, I bet that the Battle of Penang article has it correct? Hopefully someone can fix this. --doncram 03:28, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
