Area of the municipal is much more than given in the article. The distance from north end to south end of Södertälje is about 70 km. And about average 20 km from east to west. So the given number in the article, 25.84 is not correct – perhaps correct for the city excluding countryside, but the municipal includes lots of countryside and the distant villages Järna and Mölnbo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peroberg (talk • contribs) 10:02, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Anyway with the reported area which seems to be the built-up area of the town, the population density would be 64619/25.84=2500 maybe urban and metropolitan area can both be reported and density then being calculated for each. But at the moment there is inconsistancy between urban area and municipal density. Araz16 (talk) 22:44, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
