I am surprised that some of you find this does not deserve a place in wikipedia.

For one, i have made only a beginning, as there was some reference to the learned professor in another article - srittavanidhi.

Again the learned professor - a multifaceted personality was a colossus and an authority on Indology and the sheer volume of his publication should be suffice to restrain any doubting Thomoses.

Kindly do not insult the great soul by your comments. point well taken, the article needs improvement, then it is just a beginning and it is for the vast multitude of your India based wikipedians to improve and add on the subject.
