Move proposal

I propose to rename this article to "Sanjak of Montenegro" because that was the name of this province of Ottoman Empire.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 20:18, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is this article about vilayet or sanjak ? sample of Karadağ Vilayeti. Takabeg (talk) 02:51, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"црногорски вилајет" 2 hits
Based on the above mentioned search results for sources on English and south slavic languages, I think that it is obvious that Crna Gora (Montenegro) was considered more as sanjak then vilayet. What is the situation with sources on Turkish? --Antidiskriminator (talk) 09:49, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Support Karadağ Sancağı is common usage in Turkish language. Maybe some scholars made mistakes. But I'm not suer 100 % :) Takabeg (talk) 10:06, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
