Iwase Samura or Iwase Sei--what is his correct name(s)

Earl Miner "Grounds of mimetic and nonmietic art" in Articulate Images: The Sister Arts from Hogarth to Tennyson edited Richard Wendorf [1] has his name as Iwase Sei. The Japan encyclopedia by Louis Frédéric [2] gives both Iwase Sei and Iwase Samura (plus several others not mentioned in this article). He has several context dependent names. Is Iwase Samura or Iwase Sei correct as his individual name or are both valid?LittleHow (talk) 11:57, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
